General information
Our air conditioning is electrically driven and works by
transferring heat gathered by an indoor unit into a fluid (refrigerant), passing the fluid to an outdoor unit to
dissipate the heat to outside air, in a continual cycle (and vice-versa for heat-pumps).
When you are considering a system please allow for the location
of the outdoor unit(s). They can be screened with fencing or plants. The interconnecting pipes can be hidden
in trunking or a dummy rain water pipe. We have in the past, for example on listed buildings, put the outdoor unit indoors!
In a garage roof space, a shed or a 'dog kennel' to give an overall discrete installation. So long as there's fresh air moving
across the unit.
Having said all that, we do have a small range of wall mounted
units that don't need an outdoor unit.
The electric pump that circulates the fluid is the main energy consuming component in the
system. We will always recommend the use of highly energy efficient Inverter controlled pump for all applications, offering
35 to 70% energy saving over non-inverter units (dependent on system type and conditions).
There are many different styles, colours and capacities of appliance
available. Please browse the relevant pages for ideas.
We hope you find the information you require about
our company and the products and services we provide.
Please call us for full information and advice on equipment
selection and specification.
When choosing equipment it's most important to select the correct
capacity as well as type and style for your application, therefore we will always carry out a site survey prior
to offering recommendations and a written quotation.

Please, do be aware!
The air con' market and Internet are awash with different quality but
similar sounding equipment, much of which comes from importers who have no UK representation and those that do, don't
often have any engineering or technical support.
We have occasionally been contacted by people who are having problems with relatively
new equipment and can't contact the supplier, get any technical help or spare parts.
Very often the initial cost saving of a couple of hundred pounds
compared to good quality equipment becomes insignificant when we have to tell someone their equipment
is effectively useless.
Please, do buy decent kit!
Temperatura operate in a manner that is compliant with sections 33 and 34
of the Environmental protection act.
We are certified Refrigerant Safe Handlers and Licenced controlled waste
handlers.
